I did several scouting trips, but once we got to GBV and met Christina and Ken, and interrogated a couple who had been married there, we stopped looking.
After a great experience with GBV, I very strongly recommend at least checking it out.

I'll highlight some pros and cons, in my book, but since this is a very personal decision, my advice is to get yourself there, walk around a few places with a glass of wine and the owners, and you'll just know. Some things that we didn't particularly care for (astroturf, other weddings onsite) may not be a big deal for others.
